Kathryn Rozella (Harer) Kyriazis. Born January 16, 1909 to Edith Grace Cox and David Harer in Tombsrun, PA.
On July 30, 1935 she married Demetrios George (James) Kyriazis, in Chappaqua, NY.
Before coming to New York she was a teacher in a one room school-house in Pennsylvania.
Together with her husband they owned the Croton Drive-In Restaurant in Croton-on-Hudson for many years, which is now known as the Croton Colonial. Kathryn was also a former Chef at the Yankee Clipper Diner in Beacon, NY.
Survivors include four children. Rona Roberts of Fishkill, George Kyriazis of Cortlandt, David Kyriazis of Beacon and Pauline Mourouzis of Cortlandt Manor. 18 grandchildren, several greatgrandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all. Mrs. Kyriazis was also predeceased by a daughter Edith Mavromahalis. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Earl and Charles, and three sisters, Martha, Gladys and Thelma.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Asbury United Methodist Church, 19 Old Post Rd. S, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Services will take place Tuesday, March 7, at 11 am at the Church. Pastor Robert Osgood will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson. Arrangements are under the direction of Libby Funeral Home, Inc., 55 Teller Ave., Beacon, NY.
